Closing Day
Closing is near once contingencies are satisfied. Confirm final items with your agent so the transaction proceeds smoothly and stresses are minimized.
Final Walk-Through Inspection
The buyer will perform a final walk-through to confirm the property’s condition matches the Purchase Agreement and that no items have been left behind.
Cancel Home Services and Utilities
After closing, we're happy to provide guidance and helpful resources for transferring or canceling utilities and other services to make your move as smooth as possible.
Be Prepared
Unexpected issues can arise—delays in loan funding or last-minute repairs—but with experienced representation we’ll resolve issues quickly and keep the sale on track.
Closing
At closing, the seller, buyer, and closing agent sign the settlement documents. Sale proceeds can be wired or issued by check, depending on your preference. You'll also deliver the keys and any necessary property information to the buyer. Once all documents have been signed, funds have been received, and the deed has officially recorded with the county, the sale is complete and ownership transfers to the buyer.

Tips For Selling Your Home

Give Your House a Deep Clean
First impressions matter. Before listing, perform a thorough clean—bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and carpets—and consider professional cleaners to get the home market-ready.

Declutter The Home
A tidy, clutter-free home helps buyers focus on features rather than personal items. Organized spaces allow prospective buyers to visualize their own belongings in the property.
Call a Handyman
Complete necessary repairs before listing. Visible, unattended issues raise concerns for buyers; fixing them demonstrates care and increases buyer confidence.
